I bought myself these shoes for my birthday because I've always wondered whether the expensive shoes are really worth the money. Spoiler alert: they are. As for the styling of these, they sort of fit between a nice dress loafer and a casual driving shoe. They're probably best when paired with jeans, but would also work to dress up a pair of slacks or even to dress up a pair of shorts. They are very comfortable and mine broke in after the first wear which is good because I tend to walk a lot at weddings and formal functions. Less maintenance than a typical pair of dress shoes that need to be shined regularly. You can guarantee that when you show up to a cocktail party in these, you won't have to worry that you'll be one of the many wearing the same dress shoe. I always get questions about the brand when I wear mine out which led me to purchase another pair. Overall, if you like the look of this shoe online, you'll like it in person.
I got these out of curiosity. Having seen this Spanish loafer style around I wanted to test drive a pair. Everything in my closet ends up being beige, black, gray or brown so I went out on a limb here - Kentucky Wildcat Blue. Eat em up. The gamble paid off though, they’re killer. Comfortable, sleek and just the right amount of pointy. Possibly a little too fancy to be wearing in my Kia Soul, but hell, just another reason to keep working towards the Telluride. 5 stars all day.
Don’t get the La Sevilla if you can’t handle standing out in a crowd. This shoe is sleek, stylish, handcrafted and like all Bomberos, shine a spotlight on you in a sea of black and brown leather. This shoe is is very comfortable and can easily be dressed up or down. A go to on date night. Show your wife you can put in a fraction of the effort she does!
